Zimmermann launches new global digital offering with Tryzens

Premium Australian clothing brand bolsters its international offering with move to Magento Commerce Cloud supported by Tryzens

Luxury apparel brand Zimmermann has launched a brand-new website with digital commerce consultancy Tryzens to support its ambitions for international expansion. Following the brand’s successful growth in Australia, the UK, EU and US, Tryzens has worked with Zimmermann to shift its eCommerce operations to Magento Commerce Cloud to build a strong customer experience and flexible foundation to serve its global customers.

Sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann founded their award-winning namesake brand in Sydney in 1991. With five collections – Spring, Fall, Resort, Summer Swim and Resort Swim, this iconic Australian brand has stayed true to its original vision of sophisticated femininity, a passion for detail and a love of colour and prints. Fresh, light and forever optimistic, Zimmermann shows its collections every year at New York fashion week.

To help Zimmermann take advantage of its future growth potential, Tryzens has supported the retailer to migrate its eCommerce operations to Magento Commerce Cloud. Moving to a cloud-based infrastructure has enabled Zimmermann to create new back-end efficiencies, significantly improve site speed, ensure complete accuracy over its order processing and provide the capacity to manage a higher volume of transactions. Zimmermann now benefits from easy access and management of its content areas such as the Z.Immerse section, the Collections hub, its social media feed integration, and has complete visibility over inventory, pricing and promotions, order management, customer insights and reporting to enable the smooth operation and growth of its Global eCommerce business.

The website caters to Zimmermann’s customers regardless of their location, offering a bespoke checkout journey with integrated real-time tax and duties calculations for different markets via automated tax software, Avalara. The website also has a ‘Find In Store’ capability, which can offer customers real-time product recommendations, information on stock levels in brick and mortar stores near their location. Tryzens has also helped Zimmermann to develop a premium mobile eCommerce platform, enabling its customers to pay with ApplePay and ensuring a simple, easy and seamless shopping experience.
