Liberty Stays True to its History of Innovation in Launching New Digital Flagship
The iconic department store, Liberty, announced the launch of its new digital flagship, delivered in partnership with Tryzens. Famed for its original curation, directional design and celebration of craftsmanship, Liberty’s offer is beautifully presented on the new LibertyLondon.com site, designed to facilitate Liberty’s expanding digital business and accelerate its global reach and range through engaging editorial and styling.
As a digitally focused business, Liberty wanted to offer their local and international customers a truly unique and relevant experience, so opted to move their technology to the latest mobile-first version of Salesforce Commerce Cloud to streamline their internal processes and take full advantage of the latest integration and feature sets available.
Martin Draper, CIO at Liberty London said: “We have been working with Tryzens for years, so it was only natural that we wanted our trusted partner by our side as we embarked on this ambitious project. We started nine months ago with ambitions to go live this week, and Tryzens certainly delivered on their promise. As digital grows and becomes the most globally accessible part of our business, we needed to ensure that it allowed us to immerse customers in our brand experience and at the same time be intuitive to use. The new look and feel represents a new chapter for liberty and the new technology allows our team to streamline processes so that they can focus on the customer and working towards innovation.”
Eric Fergusson, Liberty’s Ecommerce Director says: ‘“We’re excited to unveil our redesigned website, complete with our new branding. The site has been built to be faster than ever; whilst also focusing on enhanced presentation of content to inspire every visitor at each step of the journey. We continue our voyage into new markets; with the launch of a dedicated experience for our US market alongside enhancements to the treatment of delivery, duties and payments for all other markets.”
Andy Burton, CEO at Tryzens said: “Anyone who has had the opportunity to visit Liberty on Regent Street will know it is a unique and enjoyable experience full of inspiration and extensive choice. In building the new online storefront, it was essential to embrace the essence of Liberty and balance the cutting edge of style with the tradition and heritage of service. Liberty London epitomises design, quality, style set against a truly British heritage, and is a brand that hasn’t been reticent to embrace the digital opportunity to offer their fabulous range to a global market, enabling customers to access them 24/7. We are proud to have worked alongside Liberty’s talented digital team over the last few years to help them evolve and grow their business and offer unrivalled online experiences that really inspire and empower people and look forward to supporting them in their ongoing multi channel journey.”
