Tryzens partner with Poq to deliver app commerce

The Australian and New Zealand retail market will now have access to leading shopping app technology, thanks to a new partnership between app commerce platform, Poq and international digital commerce consultancy, Tryzens.

Consumers are spending more time on mobile, with people on average using 30 apps per month. Australians come out ahead in this statistic, using 36 per month, with an average of just under 100 apps on their phones, far ahead of Americans and Europeans, who have around 90 each respectively.

According to Nielsen, 85% of smartphone usage in recent years is in-app, equating to around an hour/day in Australia. Retailers have witnessed a fundamental shift in the way in which customers shop, considering the channel was non-existent less than a decade ago.

“In order to bring Poq’s unique app commerce technology to Australian retail, we have selected Tryzens to be our strategic implementation partner in Australia and New Zealand. Tryzens’ expertise in delivering best-of-breed ecommerce solutions and strategies is unrivalled and coupled with the power of the Poq app commerce platform, will be a winning combination for retailers in the market, said Oyvind Henriksen, CEO at Poq.

Our focus on offering app commerce to brands, retailers and manufacturers is to meet clear demand for more engaging, personalised content and rich shopping experiences of the Australian and New Zealand consumer markets. We have built our business with a close commitment to the partnerships with our clients and supporting their digital strategies. Partnering with Poq was a great opportunity to extend our service offering, providing a full suite of omnichannel services for retailers. Poq provides tangible value and results to the retailers and brands it works with and we are excited to be launching app commerce in Australia together, said Tryzens CEO Andy Burton.
