Cotton On launch US Android app to expand their reach

Australia’s largest retail brand launches US Android app in partnership with Tryzens and Poq.

Cotton On, an Australian based retail brand known for its fashion clothing and stationary brands have launched their new US-based Android app in partnership with digital commerce agency Tryzens to drive global adoption of their app channel.

Since opening their doors in 1991, Cotton On has grown to become one of Australia’s most recognised fashion retailers with 8 brands across 1,400 stores in 22countries and 18,000 team members globally. The brand has become synonymous with affordable, essential and on trend clothing. An important element of the Cotton On success story has been their commitment to making a positive difference in people’s lives. The group aims to make fashion more accessible while Doing Good along the way and making it easy for their customer to join that journey.

The partnership between Cotton On and Tryzens looked to launch a brand-new USA app with appCommerce platform Poq to enhance the experience for their loyal following of customers and support their digital flagship, creating a truly omnichannel experience. The USA app is their third major market release, and Cotton On had the goal to align the new app with their already existing Australian and New Zealand apps. The app, which can now be found on both iOS and Android, leverages new features such as the swipe to like feature, personalised display options and a purpose-built template and design, with custom usability.

Cotton On hope to use this app to gain additional exposure in the US market, and as a launchpad for additional international apps to support existing sites.

GM of Ecommerce at Cotton On, Brendan Sweeney, said:

“We’re excited to be partnering with Tryzens as we continue bringing our Aussie lifestyle brands to the world. Now, we’re able to stay even better connected to our shopper, bringing them an app to unlock more ways to bring them what they want, where and when they want it, as well as enabling them to join us on our journey to Do Good. Tryzens’ vast digital experience allows us to do this in a way that’s convenient for our customer.”

Andy Burton CEO of Tryzens said of the partnership:

“We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to help Cotton On with this project, working alongside the iconic brand and through the partnership with Poq, it has been a delight helping them construct a new channel experience that aligns with the current goals of the brand and will build loyalty with their customers. We look forward to continuing to drive consumer engagement and success through our long-term partnership with Cotton On.”
