With over 16,000 visitors to the RBTE show last week, we enjoyed a busy couple of days exhibiting on the Magento pavilion, allowing retailers to see our new business analytics tool that allows you to monitor your website in real-time whilst on the go – something never seen in this market before.

Covering the industry’s hot topics, from mobile to global expansion, RBTE is relevant to all areas of the retail business including operations, multichannel, eCommerce, logistics, payments and loss prevention.

It gave us a great chance to catch up with our business partners as well as current clients that we already work with on the Magento platform.

3 Things we learnt that will be hot for 2016!

  • We had great fun watching Founders of Enclothed speaking about how men have a different mentality when it comes to eCommerce behaviour. By being agile in the saturated market, Levi Young and Dana Zingher have been able to adapt their business model to the ever changing demands, resulting in them having a loyal customer base.
  • Andrew Livingstone from Screwfix spoke about how ‘Time is Money in Multichannel Marketing’. It was inspiring to see how he has grown the brand from a small store faced business and has focused it’s vision around increasing convenient eCommerce solutions in order to help save their clients time. This is why optimised user experience is vital on any eCommerce site.
  • James Matthews, Director at Ocado, gave a great presentation on the barriers to profitability within eCommerce – something that we come up against every day. It was intriguing hearing about how location offers you much higher margin protection whereas this can be severely affected with online shopping.

At Tryzens, we are constantly helping retailers optimise their eCommerce platforms. Whether it is building cartridges, integrating new software solutions or helping align a company’s digital commerce with their commercial objectives, we are always looking for new innovative technology to help retailers improve.
